Carpet—Residential

Today’s carpet has a wide variety of styles and installation techniques ranging from simple to complex.  The method of installation depends on the type of carpet and the binding of the fibers (the backing of the carpet).  We pride ourselves on installing floor coverings that last a lifetime, no matter what type of carpet is installed.  Standridge Floorcovering Services has worked with a large variety of carpet and we maintain an ongoing training program to insure the most experienced mechanics available.  In addition, a master mechanic sets forth the proper specifications and techniques and controls all installs.

Standridge Floorcovering Services is able to install almost any type of floor covering product, ranging from standard carpeting to the exotic.  We are one of the few companies left that have the experience to properly seam hand-sewn carpets.

Carpet—Commercial

In commercial projects, there are many new and different concerns facing the consumer and installer.  Not only does the installation firms have to carry a very in depth understanding of the products they are installing, but also account for the growing concerns of indoor air quality, mold retention, and other related areas for the life of the carpet.  Standridge Floorcovering Services not only keeps up with the growing number of different installation techniques (direct glue down, double stick applications, etc.) but also, the applications that they are to be used in (medical institutions, food service application, etc.).  In addition, Standridge Floorcovering Services has in-depth experience with many of the commercial backing such as hot melt backing, unitary, woven backed, rubber backed, etc.

Tile and Stone

Standridge Floorcovering Services maintains a high quality of tile installers.  Ceramic tile is set through specific codes.  Standridge Floorcovering Services strives to maintain these codes in every aspect of their work.  A good majority of today’s tile and stone setters are unaware that the codes exist; consequently, they create more problems and lessen the life of the installation.  The most important part of the tile installation is the bond between the sub-floor and the new tile.  Our installers have an in-depth knowledge of sub-floor requirements.  We also use quality materials available to ensure the very best installation possible.

Wood flooring

Wood floors are a thing of timeless beauty and have been for generations.  Today’s wood floors have become very complex in their installation techniques and specifications.  It is extremely important that the consumer have an experienced installer for their new floor or the outcome can be less than desirable.  Wood floors have changed dramatically from the early days of solid wood strip woods to the virtually endless selections available today.  There are as many installation specifications as there are types of wood floors.  We are experienced in stalling all the different types of wood, as well as maintaining ongoing training for these and new wood products.  We focus on providing the best quality installations on any product we install.

Showers and wet areas

Showers and wet areas have very specific codes that have to be followed for the showers to function properly and last for decades.  Although showers can be a thing of beauty and elegance, a proper foundation must be present for it to function correctly.  Quality installation of showers depends on the type and construction of the pan.  We maintain the highest quality control standards on our installed pans by having more than one technician inspect it before it receives new tile.  Standridge Floorcovering Services also has the technical knowledge to install any fixtures, borders, insets, wall shelving, or benches in any shower.  Since mold has become such a large issue surrounding the health of the inhabitants around wet areas, we take the extra steps to reduce the amount of molds allowed to grow in these wet areas.  Once we have completed the install, you can rest assured that it will last for years.
